To Place an Order

All functions require that a catering request be submitted to mjohnson@afvusa.com at least seven business days prior to the function. This is to ensure that we have adequate product and staffing available to make your event a success

Orders MUST include the following:

Date of event

Number Attending (ADC will confirm guaranteed number 48 hrs. prior to event)

Menu

Method of Payment

Any other pertinent information or special requests

Delivery and Set-Up

Delivery and Set-up are provided by our catering employees

Pick-up is also available during business hours (9:00am-4:00pm Tuesday through Sunday)

Room set-up is provided by American Dining Creations

Meeting aides are provided through World War I Museum and Memorial staff

Order Cancellation

Orders cancelled within 48 hours may be subject to a charge for any food specially ordered for that event

Order Information

Event coordination and facility usage is directed to the World War I Events Coordinator. These include:

Each Catered function is charged a standard Service Fee on all orders of 18%

Events will require an hourly labor fee per staff person or event staff as required

Alcoholic Beverage Service may be reviewed with the Café Catering Manager for proper ordering, service, and billing

Bartending and Glassware fees will apply

Planning and appropriate timelines are necessary and will be reviewed on an individual basis

Service

Wait Staff, Bartenders and Auxiliary Staff needs will be assessed on an individual basis

Labor charges incur at $30.00 per hour/per staff member

Rentals

We can provide rental arrangements of linens, china, and furnishings for your event with a 72-hour notice

Any other items needed for events can be coordinated with the Catering Manager

Prices

Prices in the Market Fresh menu may change due to product availability and market increases

Any changes will be discussed at the time the order is placed and alternative suggestions may be provided

China, silverware, linens, and service personnel fees will be discussed prior to the event

Functions occurring after normal business hours will be subject to additional labor charges

Prices and Menu can be customized depending on the size of the group

Special Dietary Needs

Our Staff offers the culinary knowledge to work with many special dietary needs

Please state any special dietary needs in your order that we may effectively meet the needs of all guests

Leftover Food Policy

Due to Department of Health regulations governing proper handling and storage of food and the associated risks of food borne illness, left-over food at catering events should be discarded and should not be released for later consumption. Client further agrees that American Dining Creations has advised against removing or consuming left-over food and cannot be held responsible and is released from all claims of liability by Client and its guests for any menu items removed from catering events and/or consumed after the conclusion of the event.
